Essential Duties and Responsibilities All employees must adhere to Safety and Quality standards to ensure a safe work environment and the production of high-quality deliverables. Daily Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and execute content for the internal Tindall employee experience platform providing real-time communications and content to all Tindall employees.
- This will be a Hybrid position, needing to be accessible to the Spartanburg location.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive integrated communications that align with corporate goals and enhances brand reputation.
- Craft compelling, audience-driven content for primarily internal (and external communications), including press releases, newsletters, website updates, social media, and corporate reports.
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment in messaging across all communication platforms.
- Manage corporate storytelling efforts, highlighting key projects, employee achievements, Tindall milestones and events and company initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Human Resources, Business Development, Sales, Operations) to support communication needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Engage and interact with employees to source content for internal storytelling, leadership communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist in managing crisis communication plans, ensuring timely and effective messaging in response to critical issues.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on communication effectiveness, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging communication technologies.
- Other daily duties, as assigned.
As Needed:
- Delivery of executive communications, including CEO messages, speeches, and thought leadership content for the internal Tindall employee experience platform.
- Assist in town halls, execution of Tindall special events, and employee engagement initiatives.
Monthly:
- Track and measure employee engagement and sentiment through communication channels and data analytics.
Occasional (3-4 Times Per Year):
- Travel to plant and jobsite locations to gather employee stories, project highlights, and on-the-ground content.
- Attend industry meetings, conferences, and networking events to enhance communication strategy.
Internal and External Contacts
- Internal: Collaborates regularly with Marketing, Human Resources, Business Development, Sales, Leadership,
- External: Engagement with Media Partners to execute communication objectives.
Job Specifications & Qualifications Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field required.
Experience & Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or integrated marketing.
- Familiarity with internal employee experience and integrated communication platforms.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft engaging and informative content.
- Experience in media relations, including writing press releases and securing media coverage.
- Strong understanding of internal communication strategies, including employee engagement and leadership messaging.
- Proficiency in social media management, ensuring alignment between external and internal messaging.
- Ability to create and manage content calendars for internal corporate communications and special events.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives with tight deadlines.
- Experience working with executive leadership teams and managing confidential communication.
- Bonus: Knowledge of the construction industry.
