- Directly supervises frontline employees (may include leads and/or supervisors at larger locations). Has responsibility for employee selection, performance management, compensation decisions, coaching and discipline.
- Communicates regularly with individuals at all levels of Carilion, customers and patients from a variety of educational and cultural backgrounds and vendors.
- May provide problem-solving, consultation and/or advising to others.
What We Require:
Education: High School Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:5 years prior experience in high volume food production system required with minimum of two years of lead/supervisory experience. Prior experience in health care industry preferred.
Licensure,certification, and/or registration: Certified Dietary Manager preferred. SERV-Safe Certification or equivalent certification from the Virginia Health Department is required; or ability to obtain certification within year one in this position. Valid Driver's license.
Qualifications: Demonstrates excellent analytical, priority setting, financial, problem solving, interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills. Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills. About Carilion
