As a Regional Sales Manager in our Mold and Die Division, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and expanding market presence for our precision measurement and automation solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share in the mold and die sector.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management and applications engineers, to deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to drive strategic decision-making.
- Represent Hexagon at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM data to ensure visibility into pipeline and performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the mold and die industry or a related manufacturing sector.
- Strong technical understanding of metrology, automation, CAD/CAM, and precision manufacturing.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience selling Hexagon products or competitive solutions.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, injection molding, and die casting processes.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
