As an FP&A Intern at Ryerson, you will be responsible for you are responsible for learning the way that Ryerson completes daily financial transactions in hopes you will want to come back as a full-time employee if afforded the opportunity.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • * Analyze and synthesize company financials, including quarterly financial statements as well as investment, commercial, and operational strategies

    * Conduct market research on company peers, industry dynamics, and macroeconomic trends

    * Develop presentation materials for investor presentations and quarterly earnings

    * Collaborate on Ad-Hoc analysis with FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Risk, and M&A teams

    * Complete strategic projects assigned by senior leadership

Requirements

  • Progressive matriculation towards a bachelor's degree
  • Prior work or internship experience in finance, consulting, operations, marketing, manufacturing, or engineering is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical and organizational abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and work collaboratively with others
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams, and Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication



Salary: $16-$18 an hour. A starting salary higher than $16 an hour is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
