Job Title: SVP & Commercial Lending Manager II

We are looking for SVP & Commercial Lending Manager II to join our CLC IV team. The Commercial Lending Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the commercial lending team, overseeing the development and maintenance of a profitable loan portfolio ensuring underwriting and documentation meets lending guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit and acquire new clients and expand client relationships.
  • Visit with clients and prospective clients regularly; interview and analyze the client's business and recommend products and services.
  • Participate as a member of senior management to establish production goals and strategies.
  • Create and recommend lending strategies for enhancements to bank's existing products.
  • Provide guidance and training to the Commercial Lending staffs to implement new products and services.
  • Review procedures, practices, and early warning signs; communicate with executive management to maintain good credit quality and protection of assets.
  • Oversee and supervise production staff in proper communication with new and existing clients to ensure exceptional client service and timely follow-up.
  • Communications with clients may be needed and/or required for obtaining necessary documents for other departments of the Bank.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in banking and/or lending required.
  • Direct experience with regulators, auditors, and other consultants in the industry.
  • Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the lending functions.
  • Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.
  • General knowledge of lending regulations, lien laws, and loan documentation.
  • General knowledge of deposit regulations and new account documentation.
  • Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental members, and external representatives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
