Supervisor Tax Content - US We are looking for a Supervisor Tax Content - US who will be acting as a liaison between either a development group and an external client/vendor, or an internal business sponsor. About the Role:
Provide guidance and facilitation to less experienced staff or may provide technical domain expertise to groups, especially on complex tasks. Collects and synthesizes data to document requirements, translates into detailed technology needs, and documents system configurations. May work as the technical expert for one or more large, complex projects translating requirements into technology documentation & systems configuration requirements. Responsible for the review of products and systems, instructions, regulations, and/or laws for complex projects; implements changes into software using more advanced level programming skills, testing, and providing support to customers as required. Depending on the nature of the project undertakes a combination of project management, technical implementation, and testing analyst tasks. Expected to have either a strong proprietary knowledge base or multiple years of previous experience in requirements analysis and authoring. Provides strong leadership in many areas including defining/improving standards, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and implementation/project management of critical projects.
About You:
Responsible for elicitation, analysis, validation, and documentation of client's business needs and requirements. Reviews elicits, and writes formal specifications and communicates business requirements between development and client to design and implement business solutions. Develops and improves business processes within the technology and business organizations and understands client requirements, specifying and analyzing these to a sufficient or expert level of detail to ensure clarity of definition. Recommends and validates technical solutions to meet requirements based on an understanding of how technical solutions will impact the business and stakeholders as required. May work on significant & unique issues requiring evaluation of intangibles and use expertise to provide solutions to complex problems. Provides technical guidance to less experienced analysts on tasks. Responsible for building and maintaining a relationship with customers; which may include collaborating with Professional Services & outsourcing functions. Monitors and uses a structured requirements process to assess near-term needs. May research and analyze current processes and recommend tools for implementation within a project department or division that meets user requirements and is cost-effective. Monitors and adheres to metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and recommends metrics. Ensures that implementation follows the design and directs modifications of the design, along with ensuring system assurance methodology is followed. Ensures change management and communication of change to management and/or client is done systematically for complex projects Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to the process. Develops extensive understanding of multiple Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services. Participates in short-term planning sessions with a client to improve a business process

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $116,900 - $217,100.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
