Description

Position: Helpdesk Specialist (Junior)

Location: Elizabeth City, NC (Onsite Work)

Duration: Fulltime with CompQsoft

Our client: United States Coast Guard (USCG)

Functional Responsibility:

  • Provides Phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard windows desktop applications, and other applications.
  • May Serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting network applications, and hardware/software PC and printer problems.
  • Account Management: To include creation, removal, and modification of user accounts.
Requirements

Required Skills:

  • The Candidate must possess the minimum Education / Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of experience to include knowledge of PC operating systems, e.g., DOS, Windows, as well as networking.
  • Experience in Remedy Ticketing System
  • Candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Candidate must possess strong oral communication and written comprehension capabilities.
