What you will do: Ability to work on larger more complete, strategic projects with a higher degree of integration. Across multiple Regions/Departments: Ensure that jobs are ready for installation. Company sub-contractor duties per the company's procedures. Responsible for the fulfilment of department job installations, meet all SOW requirements and Customer satisfaction. How you will do it:
- Ability to train staff at all levels of the organization to improve efficiencies, profitability and company culture.
- A problem-solver who can manage all aspects of system installation.
- As members of our Field Operations team, they work closely with our customers and our internal customer team.
- Ensure all systems are installed and running properly.
- The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and schematics. They have a working knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to test all components, diagnoses and troubleshoot, as well as repair and escalate issues as necessary.
- Scheduling, coordination of multiple jobs, and estimating time required for each job.
- Develop long term plans based on business strategy and priorities.
- Delegates project and ensure assignments are executed by the appropriate personnel.
- Provides guidance and consultation for Field Service Team, Contractors and Project Managers.
- Communicates project goals and objectives.
- Manages and oversees the installation process, suggests improvements and modifications.
- Continually ensures installation and design is on budget.
- Provides project cost tracking.
- Reviews and submits purchases of all department requests.
What we look for:

- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years associate's degree in Electronics and/or Networking, or technical military equivalent required.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Willing to obtain or have a State License as required. (State Dependent)
- Must have a mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power tools.
- General knowledge of electronics required.
- Strong understanding of local and State code
- Strong understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Job Costing - competent in recording all costs of installation jobs.
- 8 + years prior work experience in related fields, including construction, experience in installation, maintenance of alarm systems, video systems or other electronic fields.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Scope documents
- Competed basic EAS and Video training and certifications
- Ability to lead a team of in-house and subcontractor personnel, including providing technical/mechanical training to in house and subcontractor personnel.
- Ability to perform surveys and develop Standard of Work (SOW).
- Ability to work between departments in a collaborative manner to achieve desired goals
- Customer focused at all levels.
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
- Must be capable of working independently or as a team
- Working Knowledge of MS Office and basic PC skills.
- Reconciles closed service call information on a daily basis for proper billing and oversee corrections. Reviews and modifies to meet installation revenue goals and budget development.
- Evaluates volume of installation work to determine distribution of work.
- Assists District Service Manager in other field functions.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Offers assistance where needed to maintain efficient work flow.
