Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Unit Admin/Specialist Casual for the Learning Centers. Reporting directly to the Senior Program Coordinator of Integrated Academic Support Programs, the Unit Admin for the Learning Assistant (LA) Program will work collaboratively with program staff to assist in the scheduling process for Learning Assistants for the incoming fall semester.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Ensures the timely development and distribution of materials central to scheduling peer-leaders.
- Assists the Sr. Program Coordinator with analyzing program data, revising existing student surveys, and generating new surveys to collect key feedback from students and peer leaders about their experience with the LA Program.
- Helps to better capture the assessment metrics outlined by the LA Program and the Learning Centers as part of a larger assessment plan.
- Creates asynchronous video tutorials for incoming peer leaders to brief them on entering timesheets, accessing Canvas, and navigating steps if a peer leader plans to be absent from a session.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Certifications/Licenses |

Preferred Qualifications |
- Multiple years of experience working as a Learning Assistant (either consecutively or nonconsecutively).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills, as well as computer literacy with MS Office, particularly Excel and MS Forms.
