The Role

Lumen is seeking a dynamic Lead Learning Architect / Instructional Designer to join our innovative team!

This individual will take ownership of learning programs and initiatives, driving excellence and impactful learning experiences.

Work Location

Fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities

Expertise in Instructional Design: Leverage advanced knowledge in instructional design, front-end analysis, and assessment strategies to create effective learning solutions.
Innovative Learning Strategies: Drive learning innovation and thought leadership by developing and executing strategies that enhance learning effectiveness and deliver measurable business impact.
Comprehensive Training Development: Strategize, orchestrate, and construct training strategies, curricula, materials, and programs tailored to specific learning needs.
Trend Analysis and Needs Assessment: Analyze training trends and business needs through learner satisfaction evaluations, proficiency testing, and job performance metrics.
Program Formulation: Conduct thorough needs assessments to design programs and curricula that align with current business requirements, diverse skill levels, and contemporary learning theories.
Leadership in Learning Innovation: Champion learning innovation by shaping and implementing strategies that drive learning effectiveness and business impact.
Collaborative Quality Assurance: Work closely with the instructional design team to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs.
Technological Advancement: Continuously explore the emerging learning technology landscape to drive innovative design and development within the team.
Integration of New Technologies: Research and incorporate new technologies into the design, development, and delivery of online learning, including multimedia elements such as audio, video, and animation.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in program and project management, leading training development initiatives.
Deadline Management: Exceptional ability to manage and meet multiple, simultaneous project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities to accurately assess needs and propose effective solutions.
Adult Learning Theory: Solid experience in adult learning theory, methodologies, and evaluation practices.
Innovative Thinking: Creative and innovative thinking in time-sensitive situations to ensure the delivery of top-notch, cutting-edge learning solutions.
Versatile Design Experience: Extensive experience in designing training for various delivery methods, including instructor-led, eLearning, and simulation-based learning.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with online course publishing standards such as SCORM/AICC.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
Professional Experience: At least 6 years of related experience.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
