Position Title: Material Handler Wage: $19.00 + $2.00 Shift Differential/Hour Shifts: 3rd Shift Hours: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM Sunday - Thursday Overtime as Required Join a fast-growing, family-oriented leader in the labeling and coating industry! We're looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Spider (Material Handler/Forklift Operator) to play a key role in keeping production and warehousing running smoothly. If you've got a sharp eye, solid forklift skills, and a drive to keep things moving, we want you on our team! Let me know if you'd like a more formal version or one with a bit more punch! Material Handler Responsibilities: - Help the machine operators with getting orders prepped and ready to ship - Read sales orders and understand what needs to ship and the specs required - Use Radius to make movements; find stock - Check all skids for accuracy before taking to shipping department - Wrap and band skids - Scan skids to location - Pull and stage material for machines - Inventory checks - Help keep warehouse organized and items put away when machines are down with them - Help machine operators with change-overs - May be assigned other duties as needs arise Requirements For Material Handler: - Attention to detail - Strong communication skills-both verbal and written - Able to work under pressure - Prior forklift experience a plus or ability to pass forklift testing QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
