Overview

Ferrellgas is looking for a Fleet Specialist to join our team! This position maintains databases containing titles, registrations, and permits for all company vehicles. The incumbent tracks vehicle sales as well as all new vehicle purchases and enters data into respective databases, ensuring accuracy and continuity. This position helps to maintain relationships with business partners.



Responsibilities

    Updates and maintains database for titling of new vehicles, asset sales, transfers, and retirements.
  • Serves as primary contact for all vendors who purchase equipment to be retired.
  • Enters and reconciles data in the registration database and sends needed information to field locations to allow for local registrations at DMV (Department of Motor Vehicle) offices.
  • Receives, reviews, inputs, and files vehicle paperwork including MSO's (Manufacturers Statement of Origin), invoices and titles. Ensures the accuracy of paperwork.
  • Submits new vehicle invoices for payment.
  • Updates toll violation database, scans, and sends the toll violation notice to affected field location management.
  • Collaborates with third-party licensing vendors to secure proper licensing for all vehicles.
  • Ensures compliance with state regulations, Hazmat, and IFTA permits.
  • Performs other duties/functions as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, preferred
  • 1+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
