
Environmental, Health, and Facility Coordinator
Position Overview
We are seeking a people-focused, solutions-driven Environmental, Health, and Facility Coordinator to support our precast concrete construction operations. This role is essential in fostering a collaborative, safety-conscious culture where teams feel empowered to take ownership of workplace safety, environmental responsibilities, and facility maintenance. Compliance is important, and our focus is on practical, real-world safety solutions that align with how our teams work best.
This position requires strong relationship-building skills, as success depends on working closely with Production, Quality, Yard Manager, Maintenance team, and other department leads to implement effective safety and facility initiatives.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment and enjoy learning, leading discussions, problem-solving, documenting progress and guiding teams toward best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Collaboration

Maintain and continually improve the company’s safety culture through training, meetings, and open discussions with teams.

Lead engaging safety meetings that encourage participation rather than just compliance.

Partner with Production, Quality and Yard Manager to develop practical, team-driven safety procedures that fit real-world operations.

Conduct plant safety inspections and provide constructive feedback to improve conditions collaboratively.

Keep safety and labor law postings up to date and ensure simple, accessible communication of key policies.
Environmental & Facility Management

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly environmental and safety inspections, working with teams to find solutions together.

Maintain accurate records for environmental standards and inspections.

Act as the go-to contact for office and plant maintenance needs, ensuring quick, effective problem resolution.

Coordinate with vendors for building repairs, security systems, extermination, and cleaning services.

Monitor office and plant conditions, addressing environmental factors like ventilation, lighting, and general upkeep with appropriate and designated staff.
