BlueHalo is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to support multiple programs within the Space Technologies division. The Space Technologies division has been developing the techniques, systems, subsystems, and design elements required to implement high reliability opto-mechanical and electrical space systems and components. The Systems Engineering Intern is a key member of an integrated team operating in a very dynamic environment. The candidate will work across engineering disciplines to support our Systems Engineering Team with requirements capture, analysis, and derivation. The candidate will also assist in decomposing and tailoring industry standards as well as generating interface control models, impact analyses, trade studies, and document preparation. It is also expected that the candidate will assist with capturing processes within a Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an engineering degree from an accredited university

Exposure to mechanical, electrical, software, firmware, or optical design

Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship is required

Strong technical documentation skills

Strong ability to work in teams and collaborate with peers and internal customers

Strong analytical skills - comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data

Ability to learn new processes quickly
