Are you passionate about the world of sensory experiences and eager to contribute to the intricate process of beverage evaluation? Join our dynamic team as a Sensory Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Sensory Evaluation Process. In this position, you will support the facilitation of training events, set up bench tastings and panel evaluation exercises. Your role will involve using sensory software to prepare panel sessions and analytical software to prepare samples for analysis. Your day-to-day activities will include preparing and labeling samples, setting up panel rooms, entering evaluation data into databases such as SIMS or Excel, manage the recycling of wine and empty glass bottles, and maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the sensory lab, equipment, and evaluation rooms. In addition, you will maintain sensory aroma references and documentation, manage inventory on supplies and references, and provide backup support to Sensory Technician functions. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, environmental, and safety regulations.
