Are you passionate about the world of sensory experiences and eager to contribute to the intricate process of beverage evaluation? Join our dynamic team as a Sensory Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Sensory Evaluation Process.

In this position, you will support the facilitation of training events, set up bench tastings and panel evaluation exercises. Your role will involve using sensory software to prepare panel sessions and analytical software to prepare samples for analysis.

Your day-to-day activities will include preparing and labeling samples, setting up panel rooms, entering evaluation data into databases such as SIMS or Excel, manage the recycling of wine and empty glass bottles, and maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the sensory lab, equipment, and evaluation rooms. In addition, you will maintain sensory aroma references and documentation, manage inventory on supplies and references, and provide backup support to Sensory Technician functions.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30a - 4:00p

What You Will Need:
* High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
* Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
* Required to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Required to be at least 21 years of age.
* Skilled in the use of MS Word and Excel at an intermediate level.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
* Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $20.43 - $27.55/ hour

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
