Qualifications
Position Summary: The National Sales & Leasing Specialist is integral to driving leasing success by improving property performance, mentoring, and identifying strategic opportunities to boost leasing velocity. This role focuses on supporting leasing teams and discovering innovative ways to increase leasing activity, including on-site marketing, outreach, and social media engagement. The National Sales Specialist also assists teams in building strong connections with local businesses, universities, and prospective and current residents. The Specialist works with on-site teams to refine leasing strategies and provide hands-on leasing support.This position does show that it is a remote role, but we listed remote based on the high amount of travel required. This employee will actively engage with our student living communities by traveling onsite to any location within our diverse portfolio. Essential Job Functions:
- Manage and follow up on leads using property management software to maximize lead-to-lease conversions.
- Analyze leasing data to identify trends, optimize occupancy rates, and drive revenue growth.
- Assess leasing team performance and provide training, feedback, and tools to enhance salestechniques and product knowledge.
- Recommend improvements for pricing, incentives, marketing, events, outreach, and social media efforts.
- Assist with market research to track trends, analyze pricing, and position communities effectively.
- Implement hands-on training and strategies to improve conversion rates from leads to tours and tours to leases.
- Assist the leasing team in building strong relationships with residents and prospects to gather insights and inform strategic decisions.
- Actively engage in leasing activities, mentoring team members through real-time interactions.
- Assist leasing teams in creating partnerships with local businesses, universities, and organizations to expand leasing opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with B.HOM Student Living leadership and clients, provide updates, and collaborate on leasing strategies.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
- A minimum of three years of proven expertise in marketing and leasing within the student housing or multifamily housing sectors, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed lease-up goals for operating and new development assets.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience is required, along with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing platforms such as Entrata, coupled with outstanding analytical and reporting skills that drive informed decision-making.
- Must have a deep commitment to driving success in marketing, sales, and operational excellence.
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently, up to 100%
