The Warehouse Technician Robot Operator. Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment. The warehouse technician robot operator position is responsible for maintaining activation's, orders and other functions in the robot following customer requirements and government regulations in safely manner. - Maintain activations, orders, and replenishments in the Robot in exact compliance with customer requirements, government regulations, and company policies in a safe and efficient manner, while coordinating with operations.
- Monitor all order and replenishment functions by maintaining storage and system layout integrity with accountability to established and outlined productivity goals
- Troubleshoot system errors and SKU errors; communication and report out with Robot Analyst.
- Active participation in housekeeping and cleanup activities within and surrounding robot work areas
- Completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed to include and not limited to the following: cross trained in order picking and other warehouse functions, cross trained to run both Robots, participate on the Innovation and Automation VPP Team, managing SKUs in and out based on demand
- Follows lockout tagout procedures when entering robot gantries.
- Ensures orders are managed and any last measures are met before force activating or handing out tags to a picker from the robot.
- Reports major issues i.e. structural, mechanical, electrical, or systematic to Robot Analyst and/or Maintenance team.
- Cleans up spills in their entirety.
- Communicates to Robot Analyst of any issues and/or opportunities.
- Performs calibrations i.e. Z Axis, Laser, Homing.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors or pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers
- Must have one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have at least one (1) year experience in automation operations
