Position Summary


We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Power Platform Administrator to join our IT team and to oversee, enhance, and govern our Microsoft Power Platform environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the Microsoft Power Platform suite. Your duties will include overseeing user access, ensuring system security, troubleshooting issues, and providing support and training to end-users.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in Power Platform governance, deployment automation using ALM/Azure DevOps Pipelines, and implementing logging frameworks for Power Apps and Power Automate flows. Proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Toolkit is essential.


Duties and Accountabilities1


Platform Administration



  • Manage and monitor Power Platform environments, ensuring optimal performance and compliance
  • Implement and maintain the Center of Excellence (CoE) Toolkit to enforce governance and security policies
  • Manage security roles, permissions, and access policies for Power Platform applications
  • Implement DLPs across all Environments


Logging and Monitoring



  • Set up and maintain a logging framework for Power Apps and Power Automate flows to track errors, usage, and performance
  • Leverage Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Power BI for platform monitoring and reporting
  • Define and implement alerting mechanisms for app/flow failures and performance bottlenecks


Governance and Compliance



  • Develop and enforce governance frameworks using the CoE Toolkit to ensure compliance and security best practices
  • Monitor platform usage, identify risks, and enforce data security policies and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies
  • Standardize naming conventions, environment strategies, and solution management within the Power Platform ecosystem


Deployment and ALM



  • Oversee Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Power Platform solutions, ensuring efficient and controlled deployments
  • Create and manage automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps for Power Apps and Power Automate solutions
  • Manage solution exports, imports, and version control across multiple environments (e.g., Development, Test, Production)


Support and Optimization



  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot performance issues in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using Power Platform tools
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize flows, connectors, and integration strategies


Training and Enablement



  • Provide training and documentation for end users, citizen developers, and IT teams on governance, logging best practices, and deployment strategies
  • Maintain detailed documentation of Power Platform configurations, workflows, and logging frameworks


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-400, PL-600) are highly desirable
  • 2+ years of Business Intelligence Reporting and Development
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Server Technology
  • 3+ years of experience in administering and managing Microsoft Power Platform
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio)
  • Experience implementing logging frameworks for Power Platform solutions (e.g., Application Insights, Dataverse Logging, Azure Monitor)
  • Strong understanding of ALM best practices and managing Power Platform solutions using Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with the CoE Toolkit for governance and monitoring
  • Experience in configuring Custom Connector in Power Platform
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for Administrative Task
  • Proven experience in Power Platform security, compliance, and governance strategies
  • Familiarity with platform monitoring tools and analytics for usage insights
  • Knowledge of data loss prevention (DLP), security roles, and compliance policies
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Azure services
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (preferred but not required)
  • Basic SQL knowledge for querying Dataverse and related data sources (preferred but not required)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support teams and end users


Location and Reporting



  • This role is can be based in our Tampa or New York office.
  • This role reports to the Manager, Decision Support Systems.
