Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Senior Financial Process Analyst in Green Bay to provide data analytics and process improvement opportunities to the finance and accounting teams. The Senior Financial Process Analyst will have a thorough understanding of Schneider's IT and data infrastructure in order to develop change management strategies and ensure process adherence to mitigate risk.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key finance and accounting stakeholders to get buy-in on performance improvement opportunities.
  • Lead major change initiatives amongst the finance and accounting teams.
  • Develop, document and implement procedures that enhance the quality and accuracy of reporting processes.
  • Participate in the testing of new financial system applications and lead the implementation of them.
  • Oversee processes and controls that ensure data integrity across applications.
  • Train finance and accounting team members on new financial systems applications.
  • Extract, prepare and analyze data by using analytical tools and use data to aid decision making.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, analytics, statistics, computer science, accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Alteryx, Blue Prism, Python, Oracle, Tableau, HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with data exchange formats, including JSON and XML.
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Experience with extract, transform, load (ETL).
  • Experience with Data Modeling.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel, Power Point, Office, Access and Visual Basic.
  • Knowledge of contemporary reporting techniques and approaches.
