Directly manages a team of Financial Advisors & Planners to maximize their productivity and performance. The individual has responsibility for developing a team of Advisors with high performance in account retention and appropriately pairing suitable solutions to clients. Oversee all aspects of the team including customer portfolio construction and driving AUM in the process.

What you will do:

40%-Manages a team of Financial Advisors & Planners.

  • Develops roles and responsibilities and provides ongoing coaching, feedback and career counseling to team members.
  • Assess staffing needs, conducts prospective employee interviews, and makes decisions regarding the hiring of new employees and staffing ratios.
  • Oversee Advisors day to day activities including the construction and delivery of financial plans for Premier and Brokerage IRA.

25%-Builds and/or maintains workflow in Empower's Premier and Brokerage IRA to ensure quality service is provided to investors; implements new initiatives (systems, services or products) to increase efficiency and customer retention.

20%-Responsible for the development of staff.

  • Performs weekly quality monitoring on all team members.
  • Conducts frequent one-on-one meetings with staff and ongoing coaching with staff.
  • Provides ongoing feedback regarding quality of work to team members and works with QA staff to improve processes and overall quality for the team/Department.
  • Schedules and facilitates team meetings and other morale-building programs.
  • Assists in training.

10%-Fields escalated issues from representatives, clients, and participants.

  • Identifies trends in escalated issues and proactively addresses with staff.

5%-Other duties as assigned.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 (or 63 and 65) registrations required
  • Insurance licenses required within corporate-established timelines.
  • FINRA fingerprinting required.

What will set you apart:

  • 2-5 years of management experience preferred.
  • Relationship management experience in financial services, with knowledge of brokerage platforms and regulatory requirements for broker/dealers and investment advisors.
  • Knowledge of CRM and Pershing platforms are a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Supervisory and managerial skills.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and planning skills required

Base Salary Range

$77,900.00 - $110,000.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
