Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior .NET Developer to support full-stack development for critical applications within a high-security federal environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in the .NET ecosystem and a strong commitment to producing secure, reliable, and scalable code. This role includes the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications, as well as mentoring junior developers and ensuring compliance with engineering best practices and security standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the Development, testing, and maintenance of .NET applications using languages such as C#

  • Develop and maintain complex feature using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server

  • Take full ownership of assigned projects by delivering production-ready, testable, and maintainable code

  • Lead and advise junior developers and enforce best practices for quality, security and testability

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and enhance existing systems to meet evolving business and security requirements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Ensure all development activities align with security, compliance, and federal governance standards

  • Participate in architectural planning and contribute to long-term technical strategies

  • Provide advanced user support, including debugging and resolving complex issues across the stack

Location and Travel Requirements:

This is an onsite role out of the Washington D.C. Area with travel as needed.

Clearance Requirements:

Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in .NET application development

  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and associated development frameworks

  • Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS

  • Experience with AzureDevOps, Git and other Ci/CD Tools

  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices, system architecture, and deployment processes

  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

Nice To Have:

  • Experience working within federal government environments or secure facilities

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS in a .NET context

  • Experience mentoring or leading small development teams
