Partner with the best

You will be vital player in leading the daily engineering support of service shops. You will ensure reliability, consistency performance of the maintenance activities within the Aero Derivative Gas Turbines area. As a Repair Engineer you will be dedicated to support shop activities and repair scope definition being accountable to deliver sound engineering disposition to limit parts' repair activities, parts scrap.

As a Repair Engineer Aero Derivative Gas Turbines (Shop support, Departure Records Management), you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting maintenance execution in the service shop including inspection and disposition of components.
  • Dis positioning activities, ensuring the latest shop practices have been followed, report outstanding recurrent findings (Leading indicators) to the repair engineering teams.
  • Supporting operational targets such as the Turn Around Time
  • Supporting risk-based evaluation and risk-based mitigation action definitions
  • Preparing technical documentation supporting internal reviews of the project being accountable of the applicable action items.
  • Leading technical investigations and Root Cause Analysis activities on gas turbine components.
  • Supporting Development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, and industrialization. Related program deliverables to repair facilities.
  • Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. Master's degree preferred
  • Have in-depth working experience working experience in a turbo machinery service shop.
  • Have previous, relevant experience working on Aero/ Aviation Derivative Gas Turbines.
  • Have previous experience developing and managing technical investigations.
