Analyst Drug & Alcohol Compliance Position Summary The Analyst Drug & Alcohol Compliance supports JetBlue Airways' Drug and Alcohol Programs. The Analyst analyzes and processes results, implements regulations, and prepares compliance reports. The Analyst maintains all files, databases, SharePoint, and spreadsheets as well as monitors Drug and Alcohol scheduling and test results. Essential Responsibilities
- Ensures all regulatory requirements are met for new hires/transfers, including drug testing and 40.25/8060 requests
- Reviews and processes drug & alcohol collections, results, and related documents for accuracy, ensuring program compliance and "audit readiness"
- Update the Human Resources Information System and Intranet daily and weekly for relevant drug & alcohol activities
- Maintains drug and alcohol record database (SAP, SharePoint, and WFQA)
- Manages all Department of Transportation (DOT) positive files
- Prepares both standardized and ad hoc presentations, reports, statistics and analysis of program performance
- Administrative support on Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inspection preparation
- Works with business partners to secure and maintain collection sites and supplies in accordance with JetBlue standards and mandatory compliance
- Instructs various DOT Drug and Alcohol Policy classes
- Supports new hire orientation
- Supports and is cross trained in all administrative functions of the department
- Schedules drug and alcohol collections in accordance with Federal and State regulations in tandem with JetBlue and business partner policies and standards
- Responsible for drug & alcohol collections and will adhere to all drug and alcohol collector requirements as outlined in 49 CFR part 40 and 14 CFR part 120
- Responsible for our on-call phone duties rotation as assigned
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- One (1) year of experience scheduling, creating procedures and analyzing related data
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, focusing on Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent in SharePoint operations, including the ability to navigate within SharePoint sites
- Strong analytical and auditing skills
- Ability to research, prepare and provide information, statistics and data to be used in meaningful visual reports
- Ability to rapidly resolve issues and recognize when escalation is necessary
- Strong organizational and task management skills, including ability to prioritize and multitask
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate, facilitate and teach effectively, both verbally and written at multi-levels within the organization
- Ability to work in a high-pressure team environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Willing to assist in collections outside of normal business hours as needed
- Available for overnight travel (30%)
- In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Economics, Operations, Management, or related fields
- Two (2) years of regulated workplace policy compliance experience
- Two (2) years previous drug and/or alcohol specimen collection experience and/or medical
- Two (2) years of experience in a relevant field experience

- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
