Workday Systems Engineer II

As the Workday System Engineer II at Shutterstock you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security configuration within the Workday environment, ensuring data security and compliance. This critical role will collaborate regularly with the internal Workday team as well as functional area leaders across HR, Finance and IT to address security needs and deliver solutions that align with Shutterstock policy and Workday best practice.

The day to day:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Workday security structures, including access controls, security roles, and permissions.

  • Configure and optimize security settings within the Workday system to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand security needs and requirements to deliver sustainable and scalable solutions

  • Conduct regular audits of Workday access and configuration to ensure SOX compliance

  • Manage the security request and project queues in Jira, prioritizing based on urgency and business impact while analyzing trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements

  • Support day to day Workday security needs including access requests, access troubleshooting and configuration errors.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • At least 5 years of Workday Security configuration experience across HCM and Finance in complex matrix organizations (global experience preferred)

  • Deep understanding of Workday security features, functionalities, and best practices

  • Extensive experience working with multiple Workday modules in HCM and/or Finance

  • Advanced working knowledge of Workday reporting functionality including Advanced, Composite, Matrix and Trending reporting, Calculated Fields, Prism Analytics, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Worksheets

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend effective solutions

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field

The compensation package offered may vary depending on employment experience, skills, and knowledge. You may also be eligible for our generous benefits package including health, wellness and financial benefits. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of the location(s) below may differ based on the cost of labor, market, and additional factors.

The pay range for this position is below:

* 120,000 - 140,000 per year in New York

Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
