The position supports the Williams syndrome (WS) Program of Excellence to provide multidisciplinary medical and related care to WS patients across the lifespan. The WS Staff II position is wide-ranging in its responsibilities which include serving as the primary point for triaging, scheduling, and coordinating clinical services; facilitating travel related resources for families who come for appointments from around the country; organizing internal and external events of the Program, including an annual conference and an annual internal retreat; developing and maintaining a database of patients seen; and providing executive-level administrative representation of the program to internal and external parties. Interacting with patient families related to scheduling and services requires about 60% of the position effort.
