Job Title: Business Process Analyst Location(s): Salt Lake City, UT Quick description of the role or project story (What this role will be doing): In this fully proficient role, the incumbent analyzes moderately complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical guidance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options. Executes unit, integration and acceptance testing and assists in creating specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May act as liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Maintains knowledge of evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives or enhancements. Prepares communications and makes presentations on system alternatives or enhancements. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost. Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes. May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements. Must Have Skills: 1. SQL 2. Power bi 3. Excel/ability to create reports from the data stored in our system. What are the top "nice to have" skill sets?
