*Job Summary:* We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Cable Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling and security systems in commercial environments. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and coaxial cables. * Install and configure security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. * Perform site surveys to assess cabling and security system requirements. * Troubleshoot and repair cabling and security system issues. * Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and local regulations. * Maintain accurate documentation of installations, including schematics and wiring diagrams. * Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. * Provide excellent customer service and support to clients. *Qualifications:* * Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices. * Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to cabling and security system installation. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
