Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 9 to 13 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kafka JavaScript Microservices AWS SNS AWS Lambda Java 8 and Java 11. Experience in IT Operations and Broadcasting domains is a plus. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

* Lead the design and implementation of scalable and reliable microservices architecture.

* Oversee the integration of Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.

* Provide technical guidance on the use of JavaScript for front-end development.

* Develop and deploy AWS Lambda functions to support serverless applications.

* Utilize AWS SNS for message notification and handling.

* Ensure the application of Java 8 and Java 11 best practices in development.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.

* Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

* Optimize system performance and ensure high availability.

* Document technical specifications and architectural designs.

* Mentor junior developers and provide knowledge transfer sessions.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications

* Must have strong experience in Kafka JavaScript Microservices AWS SNS AWS Lambda Java 8 and Java 11.

* Nice to have experience in IT Operations and Broadcasting domains.

* Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.

* Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

* Must have a proactive approach to learning and development.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $66,896.00 to $132,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
