Skills Checkpoint, Cyber security, Siem, Security architecture, Active directory, Security, Firewall, Paloalto, Network security, Network engineering, Information security Top Skills Details Checkpoint,Cyber security,Siem,Security architecture,Active directory Additional Skills & Qualifications - Collaborate with NDOT IT Contact, Aaron Cushmon, and other team members to design and maintain traffic signal networks and infrastructure. - Implement and manage network security protocols to protect systems from vulnerabilities, cyberattacks, and unauthorized access. - Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, remote access systems, and intrusion detection systems. - Conduct regular security audits to identify and mitigate risks. - Provide technical advice on network security issues and best practices. - Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. - Stay updated with the latest security standards, systems, and authentication protocols. - Document network security architecture, operational procedures, and incident response plans. - Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role. - Knowledge of traffic security and Intelligent Traffic Systems is highly desirable. - Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. - Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, remote access systems, and other security tools. - Ability to identify and mitigate network security risks. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or similar are preferred. Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
