BANQUET BARTENDER
HOURLY RATE: $15.00
The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is looking for fun and outgoing people to join our Banquets team as a part time Bartender. The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is located in Kenosha and has 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a grand two-story ballroom. We offer flexible work schedules, and for those interested, cross-training in a variety of positions and the opportunity to learn the hotel industry.

As a Bartender on our Banquets team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers.
- Take drink orders and serve to customers.
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails per hotel standard drink recipes.
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences.
- Maintain a clean working area, and wash glassware and utensils.
- Process payments for customers.
- Build a rapport with banquet guests to create a positive atmosphere.
- Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:
- One to two years of experience bartending in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, and other languages are advantages.
- Good personality and positive interpersonal skills required.
- Dependability and regular attendance.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- City of Kenosha Bartender's license.
