HRIS Analyst - Workday

We're looking for a HRIS Analyst - Workday to lead the optimization and evolution of our Workday platform, supporting everything from HR and payroll to finance and analytics. To find the best talent, we're considering candidates based in Michigan who would work from any of our regional offices in Grand Rapids, Lansing, or Detroit, with occasional travel as needed for implementation, training, etc.

As the HRIS Analyst - Workday, you'll lead the development, configuration, and enhancement of Workday across our enterprise, playing a critical role in:

  Streamlining and optimizing business processes across HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, and more.

  Designing and maintaining integrations, reports, dashboards, and data structures.

  
  
• 
  

  Collaborating with cross-functional teams-HR, IT, Payroll, and Accounting-to ensure technology aligns with business goals.

  
  
• 
  

  Driving new system functionality and feature rollouts, from discovery to deployment.

  
  
• 
  

  Serving as the go-to liaison between internal users and external Workday partners.

  
  
• 
  

  You'll work at the center of innovation, where your expertise will directly shape system performance, data quality, and organizational efficiency.

  Bachelor's Degree in related technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering, or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience

  
  
• 
  

  3-5 years' experience as an HRIS Analyst using Workday, with a strong understanding of HR, PR, and accounting processes and business requirements.

  
  
• 
  

  Deep technical expertise in Workday integrations and business processes.

  
  
• 
  

  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  
  
• 
  

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience in project management and strategic planning

  
  
• 
  

  Bonus: Workday certifications and experience implementing security protocols and compliance best practices.
