General Maintenace Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY
Supervises Facilities Maintenance Mechanics in the maintenance of the building and grounds for all West Palm Beach area locations to include the Port of Palm Beach facilities. Also manages and facilities the relocation of office furnishings as required for department moves, scheduled meetings or corporate construction projects.

C. JOB SCOPE
Supervises Nonexempt employees. Responsible for budgetary and Project Management responsibilities for all West Palm Beach locations including the Port of Palm Beach facilities.

D. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises maintenance of all buildings and grounds for the West Palm Beach area facilities.
Reviews outsourcing activities and expenses on approved projects.
Inspect all mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electric, security systems, fire alarm system and HVAC systems. Responsible for scheduling the maintenance or repair of systems.
Coordinate and supervise outside construction/maintenance contractors and ensures the completion of work to company specifications.
Liaise with cleaning contractor to ensure facilities are maintained as required.
Supervise the moving of furniture within the company.
Purchase materials and supplies for maintenance functions.
Supervise operation of all equipment used by the Maintenance Staff.
Responsible for key system, including maintenance, repair and issuance of keys.

E. MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Three years supervising facility maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry , electrical and lawn maintenance.
LICENSE: Valid Florida Drivers License, Valid Passport
TRAVEL: Daily travel to various US company locations. 5% travel to international company locations.
PHYSICAL: Operations - Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer or handheld. Ability to frequently twist, bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb on equipment, push/pull 50 pounds, crawl, lift and carry at least 80 pounds on a daily basis. Able to withstand constant exposure to extreme weather conditions. Ability to travel in various modes of transportation (e.g. automobile, airplane, train etc.)
