Milton CAT is looking for a proactive and analytical Regional Inventory Coordinator to join our sales operation team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the right equipment gets to the right place-on time and cost-effectively. Ideal for someone with a strong eye for logistics and operations, this role supports our mission to deliver unmatched service across the Northeast.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

    Coordinate sales and rental equipment reservations across multiple locations.
  • Use internal systems to review equipment availability, location, and condition to assign the most appropriate asset.
  • Collaborate with Sales to balance rental vs. sales opportunities.
  • Work with Service teams to ensure equipment is ready and repaired as needed.
  • Minimize transportation costs by planning smart equipment movement.
  • Run reports and analyze trends to keep inventory optimized and downtime minimal.
  • Conduct audits and manage equipment movement records.


Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in the construction equipment or heavy machinery industry is a strong plus, but not required-we'll train the right person with transferable skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working in multiple systems.
  • Exceptional communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Must be detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
