Entry-Level Dump Truck Driver

Typical Duties:

Crew members will contribute to the success of the team through a variety of physical tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature. Typical duties include:

• Operated Class B CDL dump trucks in a supervised training environment

• Performed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance

• Assisted with hauling materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and debris to and from job sites

• Practiced safe driving techniques on construction sites and public roads

• Communicated with site supervisors and equipment operators to coordinate material drop-off and pickup

• Learned basic maintenance and daily upkeep of dump truck equipment

• Followed DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License is required
• One year of CDL driving in a vehicle with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater is required.
• Previous dump truck experience is preferred.
