Overview

The Specialist, Employee Relations North America, will play a crucial role in addressing workplace issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and promoting employee satisfaction. This position involves acting as a mediator, conducting investigations, providing advisory support, and encouraging open communication between employees and management.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week onsite at our Milford, MA headquarters.



Responsibilities

    Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator to resolve disputes between employees or between employees and management, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Complaint Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, such as harassment or discrimination, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance to management on handling Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), disciplinary actions, terminations, and other employee-related matters while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
  • Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns and foster open communication.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in employee relations, including conflict resolution and complaint investigation.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide sound advice and guidance to management on employee-related matters.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders.
