Salary Range starting at: $13.53/ per hour Job Objective: You will prepare and serve meals for Center residents as directed; and clean up after meals. You will also assist the Kitchen Manager in scheduling employees to ensure proper coverage and training new employees What you will do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed Experience: Experience working as a cook in either a residential or commercial setting. Experience and ability to relate to others in a positive manner in a social service setting providing services to persons in crisis Certifications: CPR and ServeSafe certifications are required within 60 Days Skills/Abilities: Able to speak, write, and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel. Able to accept and communicate with clients of diverse cultural and socioeconomic groups. Travel: None anticipated Working Conditions: Work is performed in an (office, warehouse, medical facility, church) environment; may require some weekend and evening work.
