We are currently seeking a full-time Energy Efficiency Associate to join our Energy Efficiency Programs Department. This role will primarily be focused on supporting our New York-based energy efficiency and building electrification incentive programs as part of our implementation team. Ideal candidates will have relevant coursework or work experience with energy efficiency or building electrification programs and/or policies. As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will have a broad impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for major North American utilities, program administrators and other national leaders in energy efficiency. The person filling this role willbe required to work in a hybrid work environment adjacent toour New York, NY officeand expected to be on-site in the office a minimum of once a week (preferably Wednesdays)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Process rebate project applications according to documented standard operating procedures
  • Organization and facilitation of in-person meetings and calls with internal and external stakeholders
  • Track progress of work assignments, including work to be done and work completed
  • Maintain a high degree of efficiency and accuracy while under time constraints
  • Participate in team meetings and complete regular training sessions to expand program knowledge
  • Technology research and literature searches
  • Regular client and program participant communications
  • Assisting with program design and implementation



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in an energy-related discipline with environmental, electrical or mechanical engineering preferred; or a minimum of two years of relevant work experience with no degree
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to work and thrive independently and juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach
  • Excellent personal accountability



Compensation to commensurate with experience with the pay band of $60,000 to $70,000/Annually

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Office Locations and a Remote Workforce

Energy Solutions operates as a predominantly remote workforce with offices insix different locations. Employees who reside within 40 miles of an office (except New York) will be assigned to that location, though in-office attendance requirements may vary by team.
