In addition, a current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license is required. SUMMARY: The Substance Abuse Credential Senior Licensed Mental Health Clinician (CADC or MAC) provides services to people who experience serious mental illness. This includes substance abuse assessment, recovery focused treatment planning, group and individual training, and group and individual counseling, as well providing crisis intervention if necessary. May provide clinical quality review of other's work. Provides service coordination and/or linkage to community services that meet the needs of the individual patient/consumer and engages in crisis prevention and management as necessary. May work in the hospital, outpatient clinic, or community settings, including support provided in the home, at work/school, or in shelters. QUALIFICATIONS
