Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $68,500 - Midpoint: $89,100 (Salaried E11)

Department/Organization: 401202 - Crossroads Civic Engagement Center

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The Leadership Development and Community Engagement Director leads and directs community leadership development initiatives and student intern placements in multiple Alabama cities that seek to create research and external funding support for faculty and staff as well as increased experiential leaning opportunities for students that that have societal impact and comprehensive research practices at their core.

Additional Department Summary: Leads and directs community leadership development initiatives and student intern placements in multiple Alabama cities that seek to create research and external funding support for faculty and staff as well as increased experiential leaning opportunities for students.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of community-based project/program management experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of community-based project/program management experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree or higher and three (3) years of experience in developing and/or facilitating curriculum to include experience in conducting skill-building workshops and facilitating leadership training and moderating community dialogues.

Skills and Knowledge: Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Resourcefulness.

Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate degree in related field. Exemplary teaching, curricular development, and research skills.
