Overview Full-Stack Web Developer LOCATION: Columbia, Maryland JOB STATUS: Full Time CLEARANCE: Active Secret Clearance Salary: $110,000-$120,000 SEG, an Astrion company, has an exciting opportunity for a Full Stack Web Developer to add to our excellent Modeling and Simulation Development team in Columbia, MD. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS: 3-5 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a solid foundation in software and solution-based design and implementation Qualified candidates will be detail-oriented, self-starters, highly motivated, and comfortable with working independently as well as in a team setting Applicants must possess U.S. citizenship and a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a security clearance (please refer to http://www.dss.mil/psmo-i/indus_psmoi_interim.html) Essential and Required Skills (high-level of proficiency): * Django * Javascript, JQuery * Python * Python Web Framework * React * Node.js, Express.js * Web Servers * REST/API * JSON, YAML, XML * HTML 5, CSS * SQL, MongoDB * Excel/PDF Reports * GIT * Jenkins * Testing Frameworks (Selenium, Robot Framework) * Windows, Linux * Experience working within an Agile development team Highly Desired Skills: * AI/ML * CI/CD * Flask, Django * Experience with Web application templating engines * JIRA, Confluence * Mobile app development experience Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated mid-level, Full-Stack Web Developer to play a pivotal role in enhancing our enterprise web solution and transitioning it into a robust, scalable white-label offering. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing features that support extensive customization, and seamless integration for a diverse range of (gov) clients. You will work closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to ensure our solutions meets the highest standards of performance, security, and user experience. The work involves design, development, implementation, testing, and verification of projects related to Astrion's web development efforts in a mission-critical environment with the objective to grow the existing product and scale it to a wider audience with a large variety of needs and requirements. Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions for a broad customer base by actively contributing to a dynamic Agile Scrum team, embracing iterative development and continuous improvement. As a self-starter, you'll leverage your experience to rapidly adopt and apply new technologies, making informed decisions to own the complete implementation of secure, industry-standard web solutions, from Back-end to Front-end, within Astrion's unique operational space.
