Summary
Responsible for delivering high-quality, life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training to hospital staff, patients, and the community. This role ensures that individuals are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Essential Functions
-Conduct CPR training sessions for hospital staff, including nurses, physicians, and emergency response teams, to ensure they are equipped with up-to-date life-saving skills.

-Offer CPR classes to patients and the community as part of health education and outreach initiatives.

-Teach both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses based on participant needs and hospital requirements.

-Ensure that all training materials are current and in compliance with the American Heart Association (AHA) or other relevant CPR certification bodies' guidelines.

-Evaluate participant performance during CPR training, providing feedback and ensuring learners can effectively demonstrate the skills and knowledge required for certification.

-Maintain accurate records of CPR certifications, renewals, and training schedules for hospital staff and participants.

-Stay informed of updates to CPR techniques, guidelines, and certifications, incorporating new practices into training sessions.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Experience in teaching CPR, BLS, courses, particularly in a healthcare setting 1-2 years preferred and Experience in a healthcare setting 0-1 year preferred

- In-depth knowledge of CPR techniques, life-saving practices, and emergency response procedures.
- Strong instructional and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical concepts to multiple audiences.
- Patient, calm, and able to handle high-pressure situations, providing clear instructions during training and emergency simulations.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage training schedules, certifications, and record-keeping accurately.
- Ability to assess and evaluate participant performance, providing constructive feedback in a supportive and encouraging manner.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of CPR training and certification.
