job purpose:

The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Lead will be responsible for building and nurturing a strategic pipeline of talent across all functions critical to dairy operations. This role requires direct, hands-on experience sourcing or recruiting in the dairy industry, with a deep understanding of its unique skillsets, roles, and market dynamics. The ideal candidate is a proactive, well-connected sourcing expert who understands the nuances of attracting talent in dairy processing, milk production, dairy supply chain, and manufacturing.

responsibilities:



  • Industry-Specific Sourcing:Identify and engage top talent across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, technical services, and leadership roles using deep dairy industry knowledge.
  • Dairy Network Development:Leverage established relationships with producers, processors, cooperatives, and dairy-focused universities to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Talent Mapping & Intelligence:Provide competitive insights and build talent maps for critical, niche, and hard-to-fill roles within the dairy sector.
  • Proactive Pipeline Management:Develop and maintain long-term candidate engagement strategies to ensure a steady pipeline of future hires.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership:Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to align sourcing strategies with workforce plans and technical needs.
  • Brand Advocacy:Represent and promote fairlife's brand, values, and sustainability initiatives within the dairy industry.
  • Candidate Identification & Outreach: Execute full-cycle sourcing activities including internet research, Boolean search, cold calling, referrals, social recruiting, and attendance at relevant industry events. Leverage sourcing tools and methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter and AI-driven sourcing tools.
  • Diversity Focus: Champion inclusive and equitable sourcing practices to expand the diversity of fairlife's talent pipelines and align with our DEI objectives.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct initial outreach and qualification calls to assess candidate fit, interest, and alignment with fairlife's culture and values.
  • Metrics & Optimization: Track key sourcing metrics (pipeline activity, candidate engagement, source effectiveness, etc.) and use data to inform and improve future sourcing strategies.


skills/qualifications required:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience specifically within the dairy industry (e.g., dairy production, milk processing, dairy R&D, dairy supply chain/logistics, or cooperative recruitment).
  • Deep familiarity with dairy-specific technical roles, certifications, and career pathways.
  • Strong network of dairy professionals and a demonstrated ability to engage passive talent.
  • Proven success sourcing in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, ATS/CRM systems).
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication, including reading and writing.

Base pay range:
$110,000 $120,000 USD
