City/State Harrisonburg, VAWork Shift First (Days)Overview: Sentara Evelyn Byrd Health Center is now hiring a Full-Time Audiologist in Harrisonburg, VA! Hours:Monday-Friday, Dayshift 8a-5p. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS! Overview A Doctor of Audiology will provide complete diagnostic audiologic evaluations, vestibular evaluation, hearing aid dispensing, and auditory rehabilitation services to patients, including diagnosing hearing disorders and providing therapy for patients. Evaluate comprehensive medical information to theorize the source of pathology. Make a preliminary diagnosis for review by a Medical Doctor. Understand and deliver a specific part of treatment plans, monitoring patient for reactions or side effects. Duties to include:
One of the following certifications must be acquired within one year of hire: American Board of Audiology Certified (ABA); or Competence in Audiology (CCC-A); or Fellow of American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). Education
