The Energy institute's mission is to help create a more economically and environmentally sustainable energy future through The Energy Institute seeks to hire an Assistant Project Scientist to assist our Affiliated Faculty on a research project modeling the risks of wildfire costs, damage. and impacts of different mitigation strategies. Work independently under Pl supervision to: 1) produce models of electric utility-caused wildfire ignition, 2) produce empirical analyses of wildfire mitigation strategies and their distributional impacts, and, 3) liaise with utilities, regulators, lawmakers and other constituents to disseminate results and identify critical areas of new research need. Qualifications Basic qualifications

The minimum qualification is a PhD, or equivalent international degree program at time of application. Preferred qualifications
