Your future role "Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical and commissioning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful testing, verification, and documentation of systems for the Newark AirTrain system, enhancing safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, procurement, operations, and maintenance), facilitate communication between contractors and stakeholders, and oversee testing and commissioning activities for capital asset replacement projects, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, and much more." We'll look to you for:
Coordinating and overseeing all testing and commissioning activities, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.,
Developing and maintaining detailed test plans, schedules, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with project stakeholders.,
Supporting the development of project Scope of Work (SOW) documents to align testing requirements with project objectives.,
Facilitating communication between contractors, consultants, AirTrain airport operations, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of testing protocols.,
Ensuring compliance with Port Authority of NY & NJ standards, FAA regulations, and other applicable codes.,
Monitoring and documenting test results, identifying deficiencies, and tracking corrective actions to resolution.,
Participating in readiness reviews, punch list walk-throughs, and final acceptance inspections.,
Maintaining accurate records of all commissioning activities and providing regular progress updates to project leadership.,
Leading the installation and commissioning processes to ensure efficient system integration.,
Collaborating with contractors across various fields to align goals, share insights, and integrate best practices for enhanced project outcomes."
