Outsource Buyer

We are seeking a strong-willed and results driven Outsource Buyer to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides support managing outsource suppliers in line with Hensley's global supply chain strategy. Maintain consistent and effective communication with external & internal stakeholders to ensure on time delivery.
• Review purchase requisitions, assign to appropriate suppliers, and convert to purchase orders promptly to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain constant communication with vendors, freight companies, sales, customer service etc. to maintain the highest level of customer service.
• Manage all Suppliers to ensure service levels and other related purchase order performance KPIs are met.
• Communicate with suppliers to alleviate bottle necks and other undesirable effects.
• Seek ways to continuously improve processes related to Safety-Laws-Quality-Delivery-Cost (SLQDC).
• Update ERP system as required such as creating/maintaining purchasing info records, delivery schedule, etc.
• Provide weekly & monthly data analysis upon request.
• Work with all appropriate departments to mitigate any delays. Maintain and report KPIs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in business-related field is preferred or relevant experience
• SAP Experience or similar ERP system (S4 Hana a plus)
• MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (writing and verbal)
• Able to successfully manage multiple projects at once with a sense of drive and strong attention to detail
