Reporting to the Director of Development, the Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager will build and strengthen relationships with institutional funders who share our commitment to youth and families. Reporting to the Director of Development, this role will lead efforts to identify, cultivate, and steward corporate and foundation partners, manage a growing portfolio of funders, and secure funding that support programs, operations, and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and relationship-builder who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

Portfolio Management



  • Build and maintain a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects.
  • Work with the Director to implement a fundraising plan focused on expanding and enhancing corporate and foundation support.
  • Write and submit high-quality proposals to corporate and foundation funders for programs, events, operating, and/or capital support.
  • Work closely with program directors, senior leadership, and finance teams to capture project goals, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate and foundation donor communications.


Reporting



  • Implement a strategic stewardship plan to retain and grow corporate and foundation partners.
  • Manage corporate and foundation partner contact information, activity, tasks, and proposal/grant life cycle in the donor database.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements by monitoring deliverables, budgets, and expenditure reports in coordination with the finance and program teams
  • Prepare timely and impactful reports for funders and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar to track deadlines, reporting requirements, and renewal opportunities.


General Development Functions



  • Collaborate with the Director to establish annual fundraising goals and metrics.
  • Represent the organization at corporate, foundation, and industry events to build and strengthen relationships.
  • Support other development functions including annual giving, prospect research, board relations, events, and operations as needed.



Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising or similar development roles.
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving history to the Agency, and a reliable vehicle.Travel is required. Ability to coordinate and plan travel for visits and appointments in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.
  • Skills: Ability to handle crisis intervention in a solution focused manner as well as communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills.
