We're seeking a skilled and proactive EHS Manager to lead the development and execution of robust safety and environmental programs across our operations. Job Summary The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving all environmental, health, and safety programs and systems at the facility. This leadership role will manage regulatory compliance, promote a proactive safety culture, and ensure alignment with Munters' global standards. This position is both strategic and hands-on, working closely with cross-functional teams, site leadership, and external agencies. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Leadership & Culture
- Lead the EHS function for the site, championing a culture of safety excellence and environmental responsibility.
- Build and mentor a high-performance safety team; guide EHS Specialist(s) or Technician(s).
- Act as the primary site representative for all EHS matters with internal and external stakeholders.
Health & Safety
- Develop, maintain, and enforce site-specific EHS programs and procedures in compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee risk assessments (JHAs/JSAs), incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Lead and facilitate safety training for employees at all levels.
- Track and report key safety performance indicators (TRIR, DART, near misses, etc.).
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering to integrate safety into operational practices and equipment design.
- Oversee ISO 45001 health and safety management system implementation and certification audits.
Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations (air, water, waste, EPCRA, SPCC, stormwater).
- Manage hazardous and universal waste programs, inspections, and documentation.
- Oversee ISO 14001 environmental management system implementation and certification audits.
- Coordinate environmental sustainability initiatives and reporting.
Systems & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, training, incidents, and audits.
- Manage and improve EHS management systems and software tools.
- Prepare for and support regulatory inspections and audits (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading EHS programs at the site level.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Proven success driving safety culture transformation in a high-paced, production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASP (Associate Safety Professional) certification required; CSP or CHMM preferred.
- Experience in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Industrial hygiene monitoring and ergonomics program management experience.
- Lean manufacturing and 5S familiarity.
- Corrective and Preventive Action with Root Cause Analysis

- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. and using measurement and diagnostic tools.
- Visual acuity required for precision work, documentation, and inspection tasks.
