Provides comprehensive Medical Care primarily through providing service excellence, clinical services, distributive functions, education, and a commitment to the department's mission. He/she shall possess characteristics to successfully fulfill their responsibilities, including effective communication, flexibility, attention to detail, initiative, cooperation, and a high level of knowledge and skills applicable to their area of practice. He/she will regularly profile orders for medications, monitor patient's conditions based on medical staff approved policies and protocols. Physician: provides comprehensive care by providing service excellence, clinical services, distributive functions, education, and a commitment to the department's mission through the guidelines and accreditation standards of MMH. He/she shall demonstrate leadership qualities, serve as a role model, and actively participate in development and revision of policies and procedures, evidence based protocols/ordersets, and quality/performance improvement projects. Fulfill their responsibilities, including effective communication, flexibility, attention to detail, initiative, cooperation, and a high level of knowledge and skills applicable to their area of practice. He/she will regularly participate in interdisciplinary rounds/meetings, profile orders for medications, monitor patient's on medical staff approved policies and protocols including nutrition support. He/she will provide information regarding patients conditions both formal and informal settings to healthcare providers, residents, staff, patients, and families. They will exhibit a profound commitment to the advancement of the profession of medical doctor through continued self-monitoring and development of their own performance.
