Interface is looking for a Creative Project Manager to work with the in-house Creative Team to deliver outstanding work that solves complex challenges at regional and global level, doing so on time and within budget. Under the direction of the Director, Interface Design Studio and supervision of the Associate Creative Director, the Creative Project Manager oversees creative project workflow to help drive projects through the Marketing Department. They are responsible for coordinating resources, schedules, and project deliverables to ensure on-time, accurate, and on-budget deliverables.

The Creative Project Manager will work closely with Creative Team members in charge of the two main areas of service, Design and Photography, assisting them to guarantee proper workflow, define timelines, and in some cases helping with photo shoot logistics.

Essential Duties:

  • Master and utilize project management software tools to resource, track, monitor, execute and report on creative projects.

  • Build the project plans & timelines into project management tool and brief everyone involved.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Project Management team to appropriately prioritize and identify potential challenges and solutions and ensures that job request information is complete.

  • Ensure everyone is well-informed about timelines, goals and objectives and milestones.

  • Monitor daily project activity and progress across all creative team members - communicating project delays and/or bandwidth openings.

  • Efficiently and effectively manage day-to-day priority shifts; communicate effectively in difficult and time-sensitive situations. Understand when and why to escalate issues.

  • Manage, schedule and facilitate weekly resourcing meetings with Creative and Project Management teams, leading prioritization discussions and mitigating risks.

  • Prepare, manage and circulate Creative Review agendas in advance of key stakeholder meetings.

  • Be a key stakeholder in how the full funnel creative process works, providing feedback to the Associate Creative Director from the Creative Project Management standpoint.

  • Build strong working relationships with team members in Marketing and Project Management, establishing a role as a trusted resource and partner.

  • Review all incoming creative requests and briefs with Interface's Project Management Team and assign projects to creative team based on project tier, client timelines and creative schedules.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Allocate creative resources, including freelancers, according to bandwidth.

  • Consistently capture time tracking and key project information, subsequently providing regular reports to the Associate Creative Director and Interface's Project Management.

  • Project Manage production design and photography requests from initiation through completion with internal and external creative resources.

  • Manage internal project set up on our Project Management tool, Hive.

  • Manage daily workloads and assignments to ensure that projects are assigned to the correct team member based on skillset and workload.

  • Ensure that creative team members keep their project queues updated.

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications preferred, or equivalent business experience required

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project/traffic management within an advertising/marketing agency or in-house creative team

  • Experience working with Photography projects a plus

  • Experience with print production and third-party vendors is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Team player, committed to high levels of collaboration

  • Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented

  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills, including attention to detail

  • Creative thinker who can identify opportunities for optimization to help achieve goals

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and adobe products a must; familiar with Project management software, preferably Hive a plus

Communication & Language Requirements:

  • Proficient in English

Work Environment & Travel Requirements:

  • Predominantly open office environment

  • Hybrid work schedule: Minimum 3 days/week in Atlanta office with optional work from home 2 days/week

  • Occasional travel for tradeshows & industry events
